The Site is informational

The Site describes furnished homes that may be available for nightly, extended, and monthly stays. Listings are an invitation to inquire — not an offer to rent, a reservation, or a guarantee of availability.

Submitting an inquiry does not create a lease, tenancy, booking, or any other agreement. A stay is confirmed only when both you and StayCovina sign a written rental or occupancy agreement and any required payment or deposit has been received. That agreement governs your stay; if it conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls.

Listing information

We work to keep listing information accurate, but descriptions, photographs, floor plans, amenities, furnishings, distances, and travel times are provided for general information and may be approximate or change without notice. Photographs may not show the current condition, furnishings, or décor of a home. Maps show an approximate area; the exact address is provided after booking.

If something matters to your decision, please confirm it with us in writing before you sign an agreement.

Pricing and availability

Prices shown are indicative, may vary by season, length of stay, occupancy, and utilities or services selected, and may not include taxes, fees, deposits, or cleaning charges. Availability calendars on the Site are updated periodically from our booking calendars and may not reflect the most recent bookings; availability is not guaranteed until confirmed in a signed agreement. We may correct errors in pricing or listing information at any time.

Short stays are offered only where permitted by applicable state and local law, and all stays are subject to occupancy limits, house rules, and the terms of the rental agreement.

Applications and fair housing

Before confirming a stay we may ask for identity verification, an application, references, or other information, and may require a security deposit, as permitted by applicable law. We may decline a request for any lawful reason.

StayCovina is committed to fair housing. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, disability, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law, and we consider reasonable accommodation requests in accordance with law.

Your inquiries

Please provide accurate information and only submit information about other people (such as fellow guests) with their permission. Do not send sensitive information — such as Social Security numbers, financial account details, or health information — through the inquiry form. How we handle what you send is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose;
• send spam, automated, or bulk submissions through our forms, or impersonate anyone;
• scrape, copy, or harvest listings, photographs, or data by automated means;
• attempt to access non-public areas of the Site, or interfere with its security or operation;
• upload or transmit malware or other harmful code.

Intellectual property

The Site’s text, photographs, design, logo, and other content are owned by or licensed to StayCovina and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes; any other copying or reuse requires our written permission. Typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License.

Third-party services

The Site links to and embeds services operated by others. Residence pages include a map provided by Google Maps; your use of it is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, which are governed by their own terms and policies.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. This section does not limit any warranties or obligations in a signed rental agreement or that cannot be disclaimed under applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StayCovina will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Site itself is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your stay is governed by your rental agreement.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold StayCovina harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the law of the state in which a residence is located must apply. Any dispute about these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, unless applicable law or your rental agreement provides otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
